Protests, graffiti, destruction, and uncertainty were all a part of our last months in Chile. Karina and I left a playground more than once because a water cannon was coming or a group of people were gathering. People eventually had to go back to work and protests mainly happened on Fridays. I would send Chris a weekly Fire Friday picture before he left work. Our local library was among others that were burnt down.
